Trash to Treasure

To keep the environment clean as well as conservation of many non-renewable resources, ESG committees organized a campaign namely “Trash to Treasure”. Under this campaign, we held two event which are:
- Trash to Treasure - Drive Thru Recycle
- Trash to Treasure - Green Invention Competition
Employee enthusiastic participation have made these events truly remarkable. Here’s a recap of what we have achieved together:
- Drive thru Recycle
- On 18 July 2024, employees were invited to bring recyclable materials to our designated collection points. These recyclables items have significantly aided SIMA Handicapped Centre to raise fund to support their operation expenses.
- By the end of the day, we had collected 632.80kg of recyclables, significantly reducing waste and reinforcing our commitment to a greener future.
- Green Invention Competition
The creativity and innovation displayed in the "Green Invention Competition" were truly inspiring. Participants submitted their self-created green inventions made from recycled materials. Each invention showcased how everyday items can be transformed into something useful and innovative. In the end, we finalized three winners for this competition.
